WEXCO® B0-22

Nickel rich boron base alloy which contains 12% molybdenum and a matrix rich in complex borides and carbides.  These elements cause it to maintain its highest temperatures hardness.  It has a typical hardness of Rockwell C50 or above (at 70oF).  WEXCO® B0-22 bimetallic cylinders are available as a HIPed product with no iron or porosity.  Molybdenum and its alloy elements are far superior in corrosion resistance against halogen containing elements, which reduces acid attack when compared with conventional nickel-cobalt base alloy (i.e. WEXCO® 555 and the like).  Ideal for processing Fluoropolymers and Polyvinyl Chloride resins under severely corrosive conditions.
